Leadership awards

At last nights District Leaders meeting five of our leaders received awards in recognition of their services to Scouting.  We would like to extend our congratulations to the following: 

Kieron Bird of Headcorn Cubs who gained a Bar to the Medal of Merit;

Jacqui Clark the Group Scout Leader at Goudhurst who also received a Bar to the Medal of Merit;

Jan Ashley, Cub Leader at Sissinghurst for her 15 years Service Award;

Caroline Johnson, our District Explorer Scout Commissioner (DESC) gained a 5 years Service Award;

Peter Smith of Sissinghurst Beavers who also gains a 5 years Service Award.

Their contribution to Scouting over the years has made a positive difference to so many young peoples lives that they truley deserve our thanks.
